Discover the elegance of Philip Watch

It was 1858 when master watchmaker, François Philippe, founded his brand in the city of Naples.
François was part of the large Swiss community populating the city, which attracted merchants, bankers, scientists and craftsmen from all over Europe.

Born in Naples but produced in Switzerland, thanks to their dual citizenship the watches started becoming known throughout Europe, valued for their design and impeccable technical construction.

Over time, the reins of the workshop were handed to his son Jean, who moved the Maison to Biel, the new beating heart of Swiss watchmaking.

Five generations of master watchmakers followed in each other’s footsteps and the artisanal workshop became a real business.

Switzerland remains its technical heart, while Italy its creative one. .

The elegant and impeccable style that inspired us from the beginning remains part of our identity.
Historical models such as Chaux de Fonds, Letout and Dales continually inspire us to bring that retro charm to watches worn every day.

A heritage that we keep in the Philip Watch Museum, with a collection of models and designs that tell the story of the evolution of our style from its origins until today.
